One of the new features of ROG.e 2024, iUP Innovation Connections has an exclusive schedule now open for registration
27/08/2024iUP Innovation Connections – iUP’s innovation hub at ROG.e 2024, one of the world’s leading energy events – is now open for registration. With its own program, it aims to present the latest innovations in the oil, gas, and energy sector to companies, strengthening the development of innovative solutions, fostering partnerships and investments, and exploring challenges and opportunities.
The space will feature plenary sessions, which will include debates and presentations on trends, cases and demands from the energy sector; keynote sessions, in which CEOs and market leaders will present their visions for the industry and the innovation ecosystem; masterclasses with experts and major names in the sector on technology, innovation, investment attraction and startup management; and exhibitions and startups.
Other activities planned include start-up pitches – the best of which will compete for five spots at CERA Week Innovation Agora 2025 – and the Academic Competition, a “sports day” through which students can contribute to the development of ideas and innovations for the O&G industry, with the challenge: “Long Duration Energy Storage”.
Names such as Alfredo Renault, CEO of COPPE’s Low Carbon Technology Solutions Center; Isabel Waclawek, Director of RD&I at TotalEnergies; Maiza Goulart, Executive Manager at CENPES; Patricia Grabowsky, Executive Manager of People and Innovation at Ocyan; Paulo Costa, CEO of Cubo; and André Clark, VP of Siemens Energy Brazil and LATAM are already confirmed on the program.

How to participate?
ROG.e, held between September 23 and 26, 2024, on the Olympic Boulevard in Rio de Janeiro, has its first batch of registrations open until July 22, and IBP Members are entitled to promotional rates.
There are five types of tickets to the conference, each designed to meet the attendees’ preferences and goals. To access the exclusive iUP hub at ROG.e, those interested can purchase the ROG.e VIP Pass – which offers a full experience at the event, including all sessions, parallel events and spaces, including the ROG.e Club, the conference’s VIP area – or the iUP Innovation Connections – which gives access to the iUP program, as well as visits to the stands and other side events at ROG.e.
iUP
Launched in April 2023, the iUP is the energy industry’s innovation hub. Managed by IBP, its mission encompasses the integration of the technology and innovation ecosystem in the oil, gas and energy sector, connecting companies, scientific institutions, startups, entrepreneurs, universities and young people.
The iUP has a partnership with BIP and sponsorship from companies from several industry sectors, such as Infotec, Ipiranga, MODEC, Ocyan, Radix, Repsol Sinopec, SBM Offshore, Shell, Subsea7, TotalEnergies and Vibra co-lab.
