Visa requirements for entry into Brazil

Plan Your Trip

Visa requirements for entry into Brazil

Effective April 10, 2025, the Brazilian government has reinstated the visa requirement for travelers holding passports from Australia, Canada, and the United States. The electronic visa (e-Visa) is available, but those who already hold a valid passport and physical visa for the purpose of their trip will not need to apply for a new one.

For holders of diplomatic or special passports, a visa—whether electronic or physical—will continue to be mandatory.

We recommend that travelers verify the necessary documentation before traveling.
